Barra do Piuva is very close to Ilha das Cabras, a privileged location for both deep-water and diving and snorkeling. In 1992 the world’s scientific community considered the location an ecological sanctuary in order to protect it. We can book trips with the diving operator at Ilha das Cabras, the sailing school at the water mill and anything else you may desire.
Practice bird watching in Ilhabela. The Atlantic Forest is one of the regions with the largest biodiversity in the world. Its birdlife includes more than 600 species, of which around 160 are endemic, it means, they are to be found in no other type of environment in the world.
